Our system operates locally on your machine and utilizes a trading program to receive and execute trade signals generated by our strategy. This implies that to fully leverage its capabilities, you must have access to a PC that meets the following minimum requirements:

  • Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016 or later 64-bit
  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 64-bit processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 (pre-installed on most PC’s)

For the majority of users, this poses no problem, as virtually every computer manufactured in the last 5 years satisfies the minimum requirements mentioned above. However, individuals lacking a personal computer or those who lack the inclination or time to tinker with or upkeep the program on their PC will experience significant advantages from the premium package.

Standard ‘Self-Hosted’ Funded Mimic Trading #

The standard package is straightforward, requiring the ability to install and operate basic computer programs, along with the commitment to maintain or activate the program when necessary. Currently, our system relies on this setup, but we aim to develop a standalone version that works through linking your account—a work in progress.

Setting up the standard package involves a six-step process, typically taking about 30 minutes to complete. After the initial setup, your main responsibilities involve ensuring your program is on and in a running state to receive trades from us during the trading hours (8 am CST to 10 am CST and occasionally from 2 pm CST to 3 pm CST). While leaving it running continuously is an option, regular scheduled restarts are advisable to prevent potential issues with your PC’s speed over time.

It’s crucial to monitor your connection status regularly, ensuring it remains ‘Green’ and active, as accounts may occasionally become disconnected and might not automatically reconnect. If you require assistance with the initial setup for the standard package, you can schedule a meeting with us, incurring a $20 setup charge. Please note that you must have all necessary information ready before scheduling the meeting, as a lack of preparedness may result in additional costs or rescheduling. It’s important to highlight that, with the standard package, you are responsible for handling any program or account errors on your own. However, paid support is available for this category, and premium users enjoy full management/support included in their cost.

Premium ‘Cloud’ Funded Mimic Trading #

Cloud trading simplifies the entire process, leaving the end user with three basic responsibilities:

  • Sign up for and maintain payment for your chosen prop firm.
  • Sign up for and import the license key for NT8 (the broker we use).
  • Maintain a valid Mimic Trading membership.

Our cloud package takes care of everything possible for you, handling tasks up to the limits of what can be done remotely. After completing the signup steps for this package and securely submitting the required information, our cloud manager will be alerted, and your ‘cloud windows server’ will be set up within 24-48 hours.

Once the setup is complete, you will receive notification confirming that your account is ready and active for use.

Which One Is Best For Me? #

When our members inquire about this, we usually distill it down to two critical factors:

  • Do they have time?
  • Do they possess enough technical knowledge to download and operate trading programs and associated tools?

If the answer to either of these questions is ‘No,’ we strongly recommend the Premium ‘Cloud’ Trading route. This ensures that they won’t have to allocate more time than they already have or worry about ensuring the correct setup of the program due to limited knowledge or patience.
